Parent Conference 2021: Connecting in the time of COVID

Register now for the IDA Ontario/Decoding Dyslexia Ontario 2021 parent conference. It’s all virtual and it’s free! Space is limited!

  • Place: Zoom

Due to the nature of this event, it will not be recorded, and participation is limited.

Registration will be made available first to parents/caregivers of dyslexic students in Ontario. All participants must review and agree to follow our standards for respectful online discussion.

Registration closes on May 2.

The evening will open with a presentation from the Ontario Human Rights Commission lead lawyers for the Right to Read Inquiry, Reema Khawja and Nika Farahani.  Reema and Nika will provide an update on the ongoing work of the Inquiry looking into human rights issues affecting students with reading disabilities in Ontario’s public education system.    

Following the presentation, participants will be placed in a virtual breakout room for a facilitated small group discussion.
